So it’s now Friday and we’re gearing up for the weekend, Monday and Wednesday we hosted a Managers dinner and a Gold Coast Concierges night for almost nearly 200 guests collaboratively. It was a few big days for our quaint restaurant, but we (hope) everyone had a fabulous time!
The restaurant was definitely packed on Wednesday night when over 11 different hotels came for the Gold Coast Concierges night and piled into Yellowfin. Not one to turn away business, our friendly neighbor Sage (part of our restaurant family) agreed to host Yellowfin diners, serving Yellowfin food. Thanks guys for your excellent service and commitment to our guests.
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting both evenings, however the Managers monday definitely was the tamer of the two. Wednesday night, we were on our toes from the minute the tables came in to the minute they left. We have to give special mention to the Crowne concierges (Eddie, Nick & Daniel) for their continuous efforts to keep the party going after dinner at 1Two3 Restaurant & Lounge Bar. We sincerely hope that your morning wasn’t a painful one and that you’ll still think of us kindly!
But now back to business as usual… oh wait! Nope!
We also wanted to mention that Yellowfin Seafood Restaurant, Sage Cafe Restaurant, and 1Two3 Dining Restaurant & Lounge will be holding a charity fundraiser in the next few months. Key word here mates will be “raiser”. As in eyebrow raiser that’s for certain.
In the next coming week, starting on Monday, members of our staff from all 3 restaurants will quite literally be getting cheeky for our nude calendar. Yes, that’s right NUDE calendar! Our staff will dare to bare it all for the Butterfly foundation, to help people battling eating disorders!
Also GC Ladies Night on July 2nd, is quickly approaching so if you haven’t had a chance to book in, you should probably get on it soon. It will be a set menu evening – tix are $39.95, includes: 2 courses (Entree OR Dessert + Main) at Yellowfin, Champagne, and a Gift Bag. In the gift bag you’ll receive vouchers to continue the evening with some cocktails at 1Two3 Restaurant & Loungebar where you and your girlies can continue to dance the night away! Thanks for writing in! The Calendar should be coming out in September, we’ll definitely keep you posted. They’ll be sold at all 3 venues, hopefully the News Agents and other venues as well.
